Stewarding A Child

My actions, my words, my choices, my story, my love; they never go unnoticed, even when I feel like a speck in the sand. She sees me and it’s a constant reminder that He sees me too.

Motherhood, a gift of reflection of the heart of our Father for us. An opportunity to be a replicated image of the Jesus they need today. You can view it as a massive responsibility. You can view it as a major gift.

You can see from a lot of negative views too. When you feel exhausted, overwhelmed, not good enough, not capable, but guess what love…God chose you! He chose you to steward His love and grace. To teach and care for and nurture one of His own angels. Yes it can be all of those things – good and cumbersome all at the same time – but relish in all of it! I may not always get it right…but without them, I am but a speck.

They give me purpose in a way no one or no thing could ever…may I steward them well.

Deuteronomy 6:6-9 6 These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. 7 Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. 8 Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 9 Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.
